Below are the guidelines for participating in the "Christmas in July" BearHugs4U Online show

Your preview picture & link will be due on July 17th. Your Gallery creation (preview photo) must be available for sale on your show page. This will also be the image that collectors will be voting on July 20-23. The results of the voting will be posted on the main show page when the show opens on July 24th at noon (ET). Best in Show award winner will be given free registration in next BearHugs4u online show. Awards have no cash value and are not transferable with one exception. )

• July 24-26, 2026 ~ the show will open on Friday July 24th at noon (ET) and close on Sunday, July 26th at 8:00PM (ET)
• The URL for the show will be: https://www.bearhugs4u.com
• Create a stand alone web page or blog. If you have a web site you can create a separate page for the show but do not link it to your main page and NO navigation bars showing. No links to websites, facebook, chat, etc. Viewers should not be able to "Click" on anything to take them away from your single page except to make payment, send you an email and return to the main show page!!
• The show banner should be placed at the top of your page. You need to link the banner back to the main page: (https://www.bearhugs4u.com) so that Collectors can easily navigate back and forth during the show. Please make certain to have the link open in the same tab if possible (most web page creators will allow this) With Weebly and Wix unclick the box that states “Open in new window” .
• When creating your page, post your 1st item available photos, a description & a PayPal button (or other payment method) and then repeat with the 2nd item, 3rd item etc etc until complete... making 1 long page of all of your pieces so that it’s easy for the Collectors to navigate through the show. You may list up to 20 items available for sale. As you can imagine, photos of your creations are very important! Take quality photos & keep the background simple – remember you want to sell your creation & not the photo! Only have what is available for sale in the photo (no extra props ~ the Collector may think that they will be receiving them also.) Have two photos of each piece, one full body shot and a close up of the head (more photos can certainly be used if necessary to show details) Give a description of the piece (include the size so that collectors know what to expect!!) If you describe your pieces in CM, please add the equivalent in inches also.
• Add a photo of yourself on your page, and a brief bio. Make certain to provide contact information!
• Provide an explanation of your payment, shipping and refund policy. It is best to provide an online payment option like PayPal, but if you'd rather use something different, that is your option.

Reach out to collectors by using all social media at your disposal, to let them know that you are participating in an ONLINE show, with the dates & time. We are our best advertisers! DO NOT SHARE YOUR SHOW PAGE URL WITH YOUR COLLECTORS … only share the main page address https://www.bearhugs4u.com You may add a picture of your preview piece (the photo you for the main page) in advertising the URL but please do not show your whole collection, until show time.

If you are unable to create your personal show page and would still like to join the show, contact me at info@bearhugs4u.com before registering. I can create a page for you for an additional fee, but there are a limited number of pages that I will have the time to create!
